Did Ya Miss Me?!!

Things have been pretty busy and then there was the whole laptop fell off the counter thing that pretty much put posting on the ol blog to a halt! So, exciting times to say the least. The lappy survived for the most part. It was just the monitor that took the worst of it. Now I have my hubby's old monitor and the rest of my laptop to work with which means that I actually have to sit at my desk to type instead of sitting on the couch.

The kiddos are doing great! Nate is doing fabulous!! He goes to bed at around 8:30 is up around 3 or so for a feeding and then back down again until 8 or so! Can't complain about that! He's rolling from front to back and back to front like a pro and likes to sleep on his belly the best. He's just beginning to enjoy his exersaucer if only his brother and sister would let him play with the toys!

Emma-Lyn is really starting to talk up a storm...not that I can make out everything that she says but she's making sentences and copying her big brother like a pro. She loves to play with Sean and just adores it when he pays attention to her.

Sean is doing great. He loves going to Cubbies and is very good at memorizing his verses. He loves to play the games, but most importantly he loves to run! We're having fun with homeschooling and he's learning to print and read. He's learned a few words and can read a few simple sentences. It's been a lot of fun to work with him and see how excited he gets when he gets things right.

Marko and I had a lovely Valentine's Day. We went to a special event in support of efforts to help Haiti and what a fun evening it was! Our friends the Skys were there performing and it was great to see them and visit with them afterwards!

I am loving the Olympics! I watch it whenever I can...I even watched the Women's curling and I enjoyed it! Sean wasn't so excited about it though. I think my fav sport to watch has been the snowboarding and skiing! The bobsleigh was also good too!

I'm excited about the choir at church. Both Marko and I are involved and so far after just two practices, I think things are really coming together. Plus it's a really fun bunch of people to be working with too!

Ooooh another great highlight has been that Sean has accepted Jesus into his heart! He's just 4 but hey he loves Jesus and will tell anyone and everyone that Jesus loves them! Such a sweetie.
And now I have a whole bunch of pictures for you! Enjoy!
Nate is just getting bigger and cuter! And oh so drooly! :)

The kids love when we bake together, cause then they get to lick the spoons, beaters whatever happens to have the tasty leftovers on it. :)

Nate sitting in a little chair just big enough for him at Tammy's place when we were over for a girl's night...the sequence is out of order but still cute!

Such a little sweetie.

Piano hands...We were over at Jennie's and the kids were super curious about her keyboard so we did a little photo shoot.

This is my favoutite shot.

My Little Guy is 3 Months Old Today!

How quickly the time passes eh?! Nate just continues to grow and is just such a little sweetie pie. He loves to smile and coo and watch his older siblings. He naps and sleeps like a trooper! Ya gotta love that! He's started going to bed now at around 8 or so and sleeps till midnight or a bit later and is up for a feeding and then down for a few hours again...Looking forward to when he can get through the whole night without waking up.

The older kiddos are also growing up and getting cuter with ever moment...but I'm not biased at all ;) The latest and greatest news was just on Friday when Sean told me that he had accepted Jesus into his heart! I know he's only 4 and probably doesn't get the whole thing but he seems pretty adamant about it and Marko was about the same age when he accepted Jesus! Like father like son, I guess! Emma-Lyn is quite the little instigator and decided to colour the kitchen tiles with green marker! I was ever so glad that it was with Crayola washable markers that she used! Sean also did his own artwork, this time with crayon and on his bedroom wall...this I wasn't so excited about but with a little elbow grease it was wiped clean as well.

This week looks busy with play dates and Valentine's Day coming up. Not quite sure what Marko and I will do to celebrate but I sure hope it involves some chocolate!! :) Oh who am I kidding, I hope it involves A LOT of chocolate! :) On a different note, I've started up doing Pilates again. I really would like to trim some flab around the ol' belly and I have a great Pilates video...It's Pilates for Dummies! It's just my speed and it's only a half hour long! So I'm sure eating lots of chocolate is going to help me with my goal eh?!! :)

Now for some random shots of my sweet little fam:

Daddy and son just hanging out together.

Marko bought me some roses (just cuz...he's so sweet like that) and I thought I do some fun photo shoots with the kiddos and the roses. This one of Nate is one of my more artsy fartsy ones.

How could you resist that sweetie?!

My sweet baby girl.

I LOVE her eyes!

And another artsy one.

And now for a bunch of candid shots of Nate.

A big Hope smile! :)
He really reminds me of Grampa Hope.

And now just a little stunned with an awesome spit string!

Again with the smile! I wasn't lying when I said he's smiling a lot!
