Things have been pretty busy and then there was the whole laptop fell off the counter thing that pretty much put posting on the ol blog to a halt! So, exciting times to say the least. The lappy survived for the most part. It was just the monitor that took the worst of it. Now I have my hubby's old monitor and the rest of my laptop to work with which means that I actually have to sit at my desk to type instead of sitting on the couch.
The kiddos are doing great! Nate is doing fabulous!! He goes to bed at around 8:30 is up around 3 or so for a feeding and then back down again until 8 or so! Can't complain about that! He's rolling from front to back and back to front like a pro and likes to sleep on his belly the best. He's just beginning to enjoy his exersaucer if only his brother and sister would let him play with the toys!
Emma-Lyn is really starting to talk up a storm...not that I can make out everything that she says but she's making sentences and copying her big brother like a pro. She loves to play with Sean and just adores it when he pays attention to her.
Sean is doing great. He loves going to Cubbies and is very good at memorizing his verses. He loves to play the games, but most importantly he loves to run! We're having fun with homeschooling and he's learning to print and read. He's learned a few words and can read a few simple sentences. It's been a lot of fun to work with him and see how excited he gets when he gets things right.
Marko and I had a lovely Valentine's Day. We went to a special event in support of efforts to help Haiti and what a fun evening it was! Our friends the Skys were there performing and it was great to see them and visit with them afterwards!
I am loving the Olympics! I watch it whenever I can...I even watched the Women's curling and I enjoyed it! Sean wasn't so excited about it though. I think my fav sport to watch has been the snowboarding and skiing! The bobsleigh was also good too!
I'm excited about the choir at church. Both Marko and I are involved and so far after just two practices, I think things are really coming together. Plus it's a really fun bunch of people to be working with too!
Ooooh another great highlight has been that Sean has accepted Jesus into his heart! He's just 4 but hey he loves Jesus and will tell anyone and everyone that Jesus loves them! Such a sweetie.
And now I have a whole bunch of pictures for you! Enjoy!
Nate is just getting bigger and cuter! And oh so drooly! :)
The kids love when we bake together, cause then they get to lick the spoons, beaters whatever happens to have the tasty leftovers on it. :)
Nate sitting in a little chair just big enough for him at Tammy's place when we were over for a girl's night...the sequence is out of order but still cute!
Such a little sweetie.
Piano hands...We were over at Jennie's and the kids were super curious about her keyboard so we did a little photo shoot.
This is my favoutite shot.
