Day 188

What a treat for us today!  We enjoyed being part of an actual archeological dig at Roma National Historic Site. The children each got their own trowel and were taught how to scrape the layers and how to record any artifacts they found.  We were a very fortunate group and all the children found something.  There were pipe pieces, fish bones, shells, ceramic shards, brick pieces and nails. I even got a trowel and jumped right in.  We are so thankful to have the opportunity to do this.  They will be digging all week so if you're in the area I highly recommend that you check it out!

Also if you watch CBC tonight at 6 you may even see Sean in an interview.
