It was a baking and do your school stuff orally kind of day. The kids answered math, spelling, history and language questions while I made shortbread squares and cookies. I love the stained glass cookies. Then we made a little plate up for a special friend of ours.
We had our lunch then headed over to her house to drop it off, unfortunately she wasn't home when we called but we left our little plate on the deck with a note. Then we were off to the Murray Harbour library. It's such a cute little library and the Kay, the librarian is great! And I loved that they had wrapped up books that you could sign out. Each gift had a tag giving a little description of what was inside as well as the bar code for the book. Genius! On our way home we stopped in at the Montague library as well and picked up a few more books...so many books!
