Risk of Frost

It was a call to harvest this morning and the kids were thrilled to go and pick what was left of our gardens.  We have a lot of green tomatoes, a few zucchini and some squash.  I'm happy with how well the tomatoes and zucchini grew, I don't think I'd do the squash again though.

And in other news it looks like we are finally rounding the corner in this cold business.  No one was up over night last night and today most folks were feeling pretty healthy.  There's still some sniffles and coughs but nothing too bad.


Just a little glimpse of our bounty.

try using the squash instead of pumpkin in your pie add more liquid and less sugar,
